v0.6 Update - Now with Spanish Translation!

Hello everyone,

We want to start things by thanking you all for your support of the game. We knew we had something good on our hands when we submitted the game for the jam, but had no idea that it would resonate so well with those that played it! We've read all of the reviews and comments so far and are overwhelmed by your kind words and generous praise :)

We had an offer to translate our game to Spanish which was a first for us as none of us had ever done localization work before. Nevertheless we took the plunge as it meant having a new audience be able to experience the game. This patch contains a Spanish language translation of the game provided to us by David Pérez. Check out some of the work they have done on other indie game projects here.

On top of the Spanish language addition, here's a few other changes we made:

  • Fixed a "click to skip text" bug where it would replicate the previous line
  • Added a language toggle button on the Title screen (currently goes between ENG & ESP)
  • Added a Sound ON/OFF toggle button on the Title and Game screens
  • Resized UI elements on the Game Screen so the Memory Cards cover them less
  • Made it possible to click to skip text on the Game Over screen

There are still a few standout bugs that we will be patching in the weeks to come, so look forward to our updates on those. Last but not least, our composer has put together all the tracks in the game into a complete album called Decline - The Sound of Mnemesis. It features all 10 music tracks featured in the game, putting them into a progression that matches the arc of your play experience. You can find it here on Bandcamp.

Cheers,

Neel (from the MythAtelier Team)
