Have you felt that RPG Maker's default screen shake is too limiting? If so, then you might want to try our Screen Shake Plus plugin which adds a new screen shake system to RPG Maker more in line with screen shakes you see in modern indie games. Instead of just moving the camera side-to-side, the screen vibrates chaotically, creating a more intense effect from smaller motions.
Plugin Features
- Use Plugin Commands to initiate X Axis, Y Axis and Radial screen shakes on Map, in Battle or in Menus. Each Command also has a Script Call for Evals
- Have multiple screen shakes play out simultaneously which are added together to determine cumulative screen motion.
- New Options setting to allow players to change Shake Intensity on a sliding 0 - 100% scale offering better accessibility to players with motion sickness.

Unfortunately, I keep getting this error when I try to load my game with this plugin active. Even without any calls. Not sure what's wrong here...
Hello Rocketlex, are you trying to load a Save from before you installed the plugin? That might cause some issues as the plugin is trying to reference values that were not allocated in the previous save. Does this error also happen when you start a New Game?
Ah, yes! That was indeed the issue! Works great now. Thanks!
